Why is my gauge button stuck, and how can I change the gauge color?Updated 2 hours ago

If the button on your gauge is stuck and you cannot change the color, the bezel (trim ring) may be slightly twisted and pressing against the button. To correct this, gently rotate the bezel in the opposite direction of the button's lean:

• If the button is leaning to the left, turn the bezel slightly to the right.

• If the button is leaning to the right, turn the bezel slightly to the left.

Once the bezel is properly aligned, the button should move freely and you should hear an audible click when pressing it.

A button can also become stuck if the studs used with a mounting bracket have been overtightened. This can pull the studs outward and cause the gauge's internal components to become misaligned. If this occurs, gently push the studs back in so the rear of the gauge is flat again.
