If your gauge resets to the factory Blue color after the vehicle is turned off, there are a few things to check:

1. Check the Constant Power Wire: Make sure the gauge’s constant power wire is connected directly to a 12-volt power source that remains powered with the vehicle both on and off. This connection allows the gauge to retain your selected color.

2. Check Battery Voltage: Low battery voltage can cause the gauge to reset. Check your vehicle’s battery voltage and make sure it does not drop below 11 volts, especially during startup. Use a multimeter to monitor the voltage while the vehicle is cranking. Our gauges have a built-in safety feature that can stop drawing power if low or dropping battery voltage is detected.
