We apologize for the confusion. Once you wrap Teflon Tape on the back of the boost gauge you will want to attach the brass fitting circled in the photo below to the gauge.

Is the 18’ sensor harness required or can I extend the sensor harness myself?

Although the standard harnesses can be extended using the appropriate wire gauge and connectors. We do not recommend this as it will void the warranty on that item and can lead to inaccurate readings on the gauge.

Do I need to put Teflon tape on the Fuel Pressure Sensor?

The Fuel Pressure Sensors come with thread sealer pre-applied to them. However, If that thread sealer is worn off or has been removed, we recommend adding some new thread sealer rated for fuel.

Where can I find a Size R drill bit?

We have a ⅛-27 NPT drill and tap set that will come with the size R drill bit and ⅛-27 NPT tap. Which can be located here on our GlowShift website. Size R drill bits can also be found at most local hardware stores.

What size drill bit is size R?

Size R is the size of the drill bit needed in order to tap the ⅛-27 NPT threads. There is not a standard size that is equivalent to it. However, the closes number size would be 21/64.

How do I install my EGT probe after the turbo?

We offer a bracket that will allow you to mount onto the downpipe and install your EGT probe post turbo. That bracket can be found here on our website.

Are there any options for installing a boost gauge without drilling and tapping the stock intake manifold?

Unfortunately, at this time we do not have any adapters or fittings that will allow you to install a boost gauge on this vehicle without drilling and tapping the stock intake.
