What happens if I don’t use the test port extender for my 03 - 07.5 Dodge Ram?

If a Test Port Extender is not used there is the possibility of the transmission temp sensor coming in contact with the internals of the transmission. This could possibly cause major damage to your transmission as well as damage the sensor.
