What is the difference between HPOP and regular Oil Pressure Gauge?

The HPOP (High-Pressure Oil Pressure) Gauge is designed specifically for use with the Ford 7.3/6.0L PowerStroke and ranges from 0-4,000PSI. HPOP is important for a PowerStroke diesel engine because it’s what drives the injectors to supply fuel to the engine. This gauge utilizes the factory Injector Control Pressure (ICP) Sensor to get these readings.

An Oil Pressure Gauge is used to monitor the vehicle's “low” oil pressure and normally ranges from 0-100PSI. This gauge comes with its own sensor and can be used on any gasoline or diesel-powered vehicle with a 12v power source.
