Will I need a Chevy LS Engine Fuel Rail Adapter?

Although The LS Engine Fuel Rail Adapter is not required for installing a fuel pressure gauge on an LS engine it is suggested as it does make the installation easier. This LS Fuel Rail Adapter includes a 1/8" NPT Female to Male 90 Degrees Elbow and a -4 AN Fuel Rail Adapter fitting that can be installed to any Chevy LS1, LS2, LS3, LS6, LS7, LS9, and LSA engines. Every modern GM V8 fuel injection car has a Schrader Valve installed to check fuel pressure. Simply unscrew the Schrader Valve with a Schrader Valve tool, mount the adapter, and then mount the gauge to the adapter by connecting your fuel pressure gauge/sensor to the 1/8" NPT female port for an accurate fuel pressure reading.
