What is the difference between the fuel pressure adapter options included with my gauge package?Updated an hour ago

The fuel pressure adapter you need depends on your vehicle’s fuel system and installation requirements. GlowShift offers three options:

  • Snubber Valve: Helps dampen fuel pressure fluctuations before they reach the gauge sensor, providing more stable readings and helping protect the sensor from pressure pulsations.

  • Banjo Bolt: Replaces the factory banjo bolt at the fuel connection to provide a mounting point for the fuel pressure sensor. This option does not include a snubber valve.

  • Banjo Bolt with Snubber Valve: Combines the banjo bolt and snubber valve, providing a sensor installation point while helping reduce pressure pulsations.

For Dodge diesel applications, you will need either the Snubber Valve or the Banjo Bolt with Snubber Valve option. Both options include a snubber valve to help manage fuel pressure pulsations and protect the gauge sensor.

The correct adapter depends on your vehicle’s specific application and installation requirements. If you are unsure which option is compatible with your truck, please contact our customer support team with your vehicle’s year, make, model, and engine for assistance.
