My Boost Gauge came with a Boost Sensor instead of a Boost Hose and fittings. Is the installation the same?Updated 2 hours ago

If your Boost Gauge did not come with a Boost Hose or fittings but included a Boost Sensor, you have an electronic Boost Gauge.

The installation is similar to a mechanical Boost Gauge, but instead of routing a Boost Hose into the cab, you will install the Boost Sensor at the pressure source and route the sensor wiring to the gauge.

Both the Boost Hose fittings and the Boost Sensor use a 1/8"-27 NPT thread, allowing the sensor to be installed into a compatible port in the same way you would install the Boost Hose fitting. Depending on your application, the Boost Sensor can be installed using a Boost Bolt Adapter or directly into the intake manifold.

Be sure to follow the installation instructions included with your specific gauge for proper sensor placement and wiring.
