How does an HPOP Gauge differ from a standard Oil Pressure Gauge?Updated 19 days ago

An HPOP (High-Pressure Oil Pressure) Gauge is specifically designed for Ford 7.3L and 6.0L PowerStroke engines and measures high-pressure oil system pressure from 0–4,000 PSI. HPOP pressure is critical on these engines because it powers the injectors used to deliver fuel to the engine. The HPOP Gauge utilizes the vehicle's factory Injector Control Pressure (ICP) sensor to obtain its readings.

A standard Oil Pressure Gauge measures the vehicle's low-pressure oil system and typically ranges from 0–100 PSI. It includes its own sensor and can be used on most gasoline or diesel vehicles with a 12V power source.
